Carlie Pagens
Carlie Pagens, RMFT-SM, is passionate about providing a caring and collaborative environment in therapy. She believes that growth comes out of connection with others in environments where we can be authentic and vulnerable, and seeks to provide that environment in therapy. Through an empathetic person-centred approach, Carlie seeks to partner with you as you grow as an individual and in relationship. Carlie uses a variety of style including Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

Carlie has over 10 years of experience working in the field of mental health & addictions. She has worked in a variety of settings including: health care clinic, hospital based services (both inpatient & outpatient), youth addictions outreach program, elementary & high schools, and college counselling centre.
Carlie specializes in working with youth and young adults, and families. She is also experienced in working with 2SLGBTQ+ youth and young adults, people encountering crisis related to questions of faith & spirituality, high performance athletes, and other mental health professionals. Carlie is passionate about supporting other therapists and is an approved supervisor mentor through CAMFT.

Carlie is an approved provider through Indigenous Services Canada's Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) in British Columbia.
